Definition

The house of karma — "which means action" — the main house for one's effect upon the world: success in career and the status one attains (it does not itself determine career — the 1st and other factors do, but it shows success in it). As the highest point in the chart (Midheaven), planets here are very strong and can overpower even the Ascendant; the strongest of the angular houses.
