The house of dharma — "the law of one's nature, the principle of one's being" — showing prime values, principles and ideals; religion, philosophy and law; the father; and the influences/authorities that guide and inspire. It is the prime house of grace, fortune and luck (sudden unexpected gains, lotteries), giving honor, prestige and power; the best of the trine (cadent) houses, its lord highly auspicious.
