Statement
Disease is promoted by malefics. Natural malefics in order of disease-causing power: Rahu, Saturn, Ketu, Mars, Sun. Temporal malefics: the lords of the 6th, 8th, 11th, 3rd, 12th houses (same order of power). Planets cause disease by occupying the malefic houses — 6th, 8th, 12th, 3rd, 11th (in that order), the first three strongest. Weak planets (benefic or malefic) also cause disease or become its site. A planet's strength by sign and aspect modifies this (e.g. Moon in 6th in Cancer = good health, but in Scorpio = hyperacidity).
