- Sixteen trees grow in moist soil: Eugenia, Bayas/Bent, Vanira, Nauclea orientalis, Glomerous fig, Arjuna, Bijapura (citron), grape, lemon, pomegranate, Vanjula (spondias), Naktamala, Tilaka, jack, Timira, Amrataka. (The anupaja/jangala/sadharana distinction is not absolute — such trees may grow elsewhere too.)
