- Each sign and the house of the same number correspond to a body part (Aries/1st = head ... Pisces/12th = feet, the kalapurusha sequence). When both the sign and the house of the same number are afflicted, the corresponding body part is likely to be afflicted. (E.g. Saturn aspecting the 9th sign, 9th house and their rulers → arthritis/paralysis of the hip; Saturn aspecting the 5th house, the 5th from the Moon and their rulers → infertility in women.)
