- Statement
- Near houses, thorny trees bring danger from enemies; milky trees, destruction of wealth; fruit trees, loss of children — and their timber is likewise excluded from construction. Where such a tree cannot be felled, plant auspicious trees (Punnaga, Ashoka, Arishta/Nimba, Bakula/Kesara, jack, Shami, Sal) between house and tree to annul the effect (remedy mechanics per Bhat's unpacking [MODERN]).
