- Wells are best sunk under Rohini, Pushya, Magha, the three Uttaras, Hasta, Anuradha, Dhanishtha and Shatabhishaj. First worship Varuna with oblations and set a peg of banyan or Vetasa at the vein, honoured with flowers, perfume and incense.
