Definition

The banyan (Ficus benghalensis), one of the four holy Ficus assigned to directions in Vāstu. Svoboda: good results in the EAST, inauspicious in the WEST. ⚑ CONCURS with BS 53.85 (rul-fig-trees-by-direction), where banyan (vaṭa) is beneficial-E / untoward-W — identical pairing; flagged. ⚠ id-collision caution: distinct from the existing built-form frm-vata and the dosha dos-vata (same kebab string, different prefixes/referents) — note for the website build.
