- Frawley states the Vimshottari dasha order is THE SAME as the order of rulership of the lunar constellations, 'as the periods are based upon them' (book p.197). The 9 dasha-lords cycle in the nakshatra-rulership sequence, and the starting Maha Dasha at birth is the lord of the nakshatra the natal Moon occupies. This edge records that the dasha system is DERIVED FROM the nakshatra-rulership structure.
