⚑ CONCURS with BS 53.118 (quoted by Svoboda): worship room / devagṛha in the NE (aiśānī).Placement SvobodaFilledper txt-svoboda-vastu
The shrine room / meditation nook / 'inner sanctum' belongs in the NORTHEAST corner of the home ('where you go to purify your past, ruminate on your present, open yourself to your future'). If a whole room isn't feasible, dedicate the NE QUADRANT of another room (e.g. a bedroom) to a shrine; in a bedroom 'establish some sort of small shrine, a hallowed nook, in the NE corner'. Place the regularly-contemplated image in the space's NE corner. Should NOT share a wall with a bathroom, nor face a bathroom door; toilets/kitchens/storerooms should not be above or below it. Do not pray/meditate facing S, SW or W until you can 'digest' those directions' energies.Connections (2)

- Svoboda places the worship/shrine room in the NE 'inner sanctum' corner and quotes BS 53.118 (worship room / devagrha in the NE, aisani). NE = sattva, Water, Jupiter - the most sattvic, purest quarter, fit for the household's 'sattva storehouse'.

Notes from other books
- txt-svoboda-vastuSvoboda treats the worship/shrine room and a 'shrine nook' as one zone-class, both NE. CONCURS with BS 53.118 worship-NE (which he quotes). NE = sattva, Water, Jupiter (his confluence elsewhere) — the household's 'sattva storehouse' (cf. the gun-sattva guṇa-of-dwelling patch, elemental-space theme).
